Vintage treats
Way back 25 years ago or so, I collected baseball cards. Fast forward to today. We opened a big box from storage marked "BBC," for, well, baseball cards. As we looked at old single cards and full sets from back then, Bill asked, "Is there any gum?" I immediately pulled a piece out and offered it, HA! (He didn't go for it, if you're wondering.)
Next inning: figure out what to do with these cards and toss the gum. I don't think even eBay can provide a market for vintage gum, stuff that wasn't good when it was fresh out of the factory.

Radioinactive
Today, we opened a box to find this amazing little radio. We originally purchased it more than 20 years ago for our emergency/earthquake kit, since it includes shortwave radio. We loved it so much that it lived in the bathroom of our first house, and kept us company with FM music every morning as we prepared for work.
While we no longer need this little FM radio in our new house, we can't part with it. It will find a new role somewhere, sometime. This little friend is too nostalgic for any other outcome.
